Instagram Version 8 for iOS Before I decided to download the latest Instagram update, I took one last look at the app in its previous iteration and said goodbye. For those of you not familiar with Paint.NET, think of it as a FREE, quick and simple image editing application (Windows Only) whose features range between good ole’ MSPaint and Adobe Photoshop’s (probably 3/4 of the way towards Photoshop). Pandora, the popular music streaming service, has always imposed a 40 hour monthly limit for streaming on free accounts. Well that was fast. On Thursday the FAA announced that it would allow personal devices to be turned on during all phases of flight from takeoff to landing. This came with the clause that airlines would have to have their planes inspected for possible frequency interference and if passed would then be able to allow passengers to use their devices from gate to gate. Network Activity Power Management Have you ever noticed your laptop or PC randomly turning on throughout the day or even during the middle of the night? One possible cause could be network connection activity that is waking the computer. This was the case for my Windows 7 laptop, and it would have likely been happening in Windows 8 as well if I hadn’t changed the setting. One cool thing to note is that this feature is available for USB ports as well, for example if you have your phone plugged into USB and you want to prevent it from waking your computer when you unplug it, you can change the setting in nearly the same way as shown below....
